Nazish has a PhD in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, where she specialised in the survival and growth of small businesses. Her appreciation for the lively place of small businesses in society led her to launching an online photo-documentary called Shopkeeper Stories where she celebrates the wisdom offered by each business owner. Her research has taken her around the world including Russia, Brazil, USA, and Indonesia. Nazish is currently based in Singapore where she leads the regional Design Strategy & Research team at Grab.
Henny Melvina is running the Research Operations at Grab for the Design Strategy & Research team. Her journey in research operations started two years ago. She manages and streamlines the research operations process. She prefers to be called Research Ops in Baking as she is continuously learning and growing in this field.
