Prof. Anirudh Krishna

(Duke University), author of The Broken Ladder

Anirudh Krishna is the Edgar T. Thompson Professor of Public Policy at Duke University, USA. Before taking up academic life, he spent fifteen years in the Indian Administrative Service. His research investigates how poor communities and individuals in developing countries cope with the structural and personal constraints that result in poverty and powerlessness. He is the author of the well acclaimed book ‘The Broken Ladder’.

Ms. Anupam Nidhi

(Head, CSR), Vedanta and Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

Anupam Nidhi heads CSR at Hindustan Zinc and serves as Group Head CSR at Vedanta. With vast experience across Siemens India, Reliance Group, and leading development organisations like SEWA and LEAD-India, she blends grassroots insight with strategic CSR leadership. She has led interventions across India for skills development, micro-entrepreneurship and community mobilization..

Mr. Rohit Gupta

(IAS), CMD, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd

Rohit Gupta is a senior IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. Currently, he is the Chairman and Managing Director, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited, Rajasthan. He earned his doctorate in Public Policy from Princeton University, USA. He is known for his work in promoting investment, renewable energy, and industrial growth in Rajasthan. He has successfully led several welfare measures for poverty alleviation in Rajasthan.

Shaheen Mistri is the CEO of Teach For India, and serves as one of its founding board members. She has earned global recognition for her dedication and commitment to the fight for educational equity. Her initiatives have helped hundreds of underprivileged students escape poverty.
